This project is harder than I anticipated. I don't have a clue on what I am doing. Hopefully that will change before the end of the day.
Reflections:
I would use the digital storytelling introducing new skills to students and giving them a breakdown on the material they are learning and the importance of learning the material. I would also demonstrate to students new vocabulary words using different examples with pictures and videos. The digital storytelling would also be used for demonstrating to students a particular job task as well as appropriate communication and social skills. I usually use power points as a teaching tool, but this is much better because I am able to add music and there are so many ways to teach a particular skills using creative ideas. I would also like to create a story using my students in the community demonstrating the work that they do on different jobs as well as what type of behavior is expected when making purchases, shopping, ordering from a menu, asking for assistance, etc.. This is such a resourceful teaching tool for both me and my students.
